This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced more news regarding the 25th Anniversary of Raw show taking place on January 22. More specifically, they revealed more legendary superstars that will be appearing on the special edition of Raw.
WWE hyped up the 25th Anniversary of Raw show last night, which is set to take place in just under two weeks at both the Manhattan Center and the Barclays Center in New York. Judging by the legends and stars of the past they have announced, it’s going to be a fantastic show.
Upon first announcing the event back in October last year, WWE confirmed Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and Kevin Nash would be making an appearance at the event, while also stating several other legends and stars of the past would be in attendance as well.
Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler confirmed that they would be returning to the WWE for the event recently as well, bringing back the iconic Attitude Era announcing team to provide commentary on the night.
Last night on Raw, WWE added more superstars to the 25th Anniversary of Raw list, making it an unmissable event.
WWE confirmed that The Undertaker, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Ric Flair, The Bella Twins, JBL and Ron Simmons, The Dudley Boyz, DX members Shawn Michaels, Triple H and The New Age Outlaws, as well as Stone Cold Steve Austin will all be at the 25th Anniversary of Raw show.
More names may be announced in the next few weeks before the show, but that’s already a solid list considering WWE has three hours to fill, as well as put on matches to continue their build for the Royal Rumble.
The biggest new name added to the 25th Anniversary of Raw is of course Stone Cold, as this will be his first appearance for the WWE since he showed up alongside Michaels and Mick Foley alongside at WrestleMania 32 to confront The League of Nations, before later dancing with The New Day and attacking Xavier Woods with a Stone Cold Stunner.
At the moment, it’s unclear which superstars will be in which arena on the night of the 25th Anniversary of Raw on January 22, but nevertheless, it should still be a very entertaining night and a fantastic go-home show before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view the following weekend.
