Enzo Amore has received a lot of heat from his fellow WWE Superstars throughout his rise in the company.
Amore is said to have poor locker room educate as he brings his friends backstage with him as they take pictures, videos, and act unprofessional. Last summer a story broke that Amore was actually kicked off of a WWE tour bus by Roman Reigns for bragging about how much money he makes and more.
Reigns was asked about the incident, and while not referencing it specifically, said that he is, in fact, the one who 'swings the sword' in the locker room as the roster's leader backstage:
"I swing the sword. If I put the sentence down then I lay it down," Reigns said.
"If you have heat, that's what a locker room leader does, he speaks up for the rest of the bunch. It's tough when you have so many cooks in the kitchen -- I'm not the only guy who would speak up.
"But as the man that I am before I was in this business I would have spoken up if something was wrong, to what I am today within our industry. I am a locker room leader.
"I'd like to think I've been afforded the keys to the car and I drive that thing around every once in a while. But I'm going to take care of it."
Amore had the opportunity to respond to this story on WWE Network's "Straight To The Source" show with Corey Graves (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):
"If that's the case, you wouldn't have seen me on the next show, correct?" Enzo asked Graves. "I have to get from point A to point B and they have to provide those accommodations because we work for a Fortune 500 company, so it's impossible to kick me off a bus.
"They ain't stupid and neither am I, they're not going to put themselves in jeopardy by not providing transportation to one of their biggest stars.
"If I can't get from point A to point B not on a bus, how am I getting there? How could you kick me off of some place... you can't kick me out of someplace I don't want to be."
