The Miami Heat snapped the Toronto Raptors' 12-game home winning streak with a dramatic 90-89 win at Air Canada Centre on Tuesday night.Wayne Ellington scored the game-winning basket as he converted a driving layup with just 0.3 seconds left on the clock. It was a thrilling end to what was a heated encounter as tensions ran high between both teams. This led to one controversial moment in the game involving Serge Ibaka and James Johnson as the pair came to blows. The two got into a physical scuffle early in the third quarter and appeared to throw punches at each other before it was quickly broken up before it could escalate. Both Ibaka and Johnson were ejected after the officials reviewed the play.

It was the fifth career ejection for the Raptors big man and the third for his Miami counterpart.

But Ibaka could potentially face a hefty sanction from the NBA as he was also involved in a similar altercation with Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez last season.

That dust-up earned him a one-game suspension and he could receive a lengthier punishment on this occasion due to his previous misdemeanors.

"It certainly felt like there was something at stake from the very tip, and that's the way it should be in this league," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said, per ESPN. "There was a physicality, an edge to the game.''

The former Oklahoma City Thunder power forward ended the game with 11 points, five rebounds, and two blocks in 22 minutes before exiting with just under eight minutes remaining in the period.

But that wasn't the only exchange that took place on the night as DeMar DeRozan and Goran Dragic were involved in a spat after the buzzer sounded.

But that wasn't the only exchange that took place on the night as DeMar DeRozan and Goran Dragic were involved in a spat after the buzzer sounded.

They were separated quickly but DeRozan appeared to take a swipe at the Heat point guard after words were exchanged.

"He must have thought I was trying to hit him or something after I shot the (final) shot, but I don't know," the Raptors All-Star told reporters after the game.

"I didn't have no problem with it at first until he looked at me, so who knows? That's a question you probably gotta ask him."

Dragic, however, brushed it off and didn't see it as a problem at all.

"Nothing special. Just exchanged some words. No big deal," he said.

The league is sure to take a look at both incidents and issue some punishments to members of both teams.

With Kyle Lowry already out and games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors coming up, Toronto will certainly hope to avoid suspensions to go into those tough encounters shorthanded.
