Brisbane Heat met the Hobart Hurricanes at the Gabba in another closely fought encounter in the KFC Big Bash League.

This thriller of a match provided some hugely entertaining and controversial moments, including the first obstructing the field in Big Bash League history, and the largest score ever posted in the BBL.

However, it was Barbadian all-rounder Jofra Archer that took the moment of the match with a stunning caught and bowled to dismiss Ben Cutting.

Heat were 113-3 chasing 179 when Cutting looked to hit Archer down the ground, when the Sussex bowler took an outrageous one-handed catch above his head.

Even the camera was unable to keep up with the shot and everyone in the ground was shocked to see the ball stay in the outstretched hand of Archer.

Apart from him of course, who didn't even raise a smile when his teammates including captain Brendon McCullum came and celebrated with him.

Archer, who has recently expressed his hopes of playing international cricket for England, has impressed during the tournament and also took the final catch which gave the Hurricanes their fourth successive win.

You can watch the ridiculous catch below, and just check his reaction and also listen out for the commentator's reaction too.

When Hurricanes opener D'arcy Short raced to a score of 122, a BBL record, the Hobart side were always favourites, however, Brisbane ran them closer than expected and only needed 13 runs off the last over for the win.

Therefore, Archer dismissing dangerman Ben Cutting with what could be the catch of the tournament turned out to be vital for the Hurricanes.

These two sides will meet again in the Big Bash League in four days time at the Blundstone Arena.

We can only hope that we get some more highlight reel moments, just like this catch.
