Sheridan handed touchline ban

Chesterfield boss John Sheridan has been given a three-match touchline ban by the Football Association.

Sheridan was found guilty and fined £750 for comments made to match officials following the 2-2 draw at Burton Albion on March 20.

Sheridan, who denied the charge, has only just returned from a two-game suspension for a similar incident during the 1-0 defeat at Notts County on March 9.

The latest touchline ban begins on Saturday with the visit of league leaders Rochdale and includes the trip to Barnet on Monday and the home game against Dagenham & Redbridge next weekend.
