Jimmy Garoppolo has had a pretty interesting end to his 2017 NFL season, going from riding the pine at the New England Patriots to being handed to the San Francisco 49ers by Bill Belichick when the Cleveland Browns were reportedly set to make a much better offer than the 2nd round pick provided by the Niners. And it looks like Coach Belichick and the Patriots have done another big favour for their former quarterback, with a new report from Joel Corry of CBS Sports stating the face of the 49ers is set for a nice windfall this weekend. Despite the fact that the Niners didn't make the Playoffs, or that he's not on the Patriots roster any more, Garoppolo is still apparently getting a nice bonus from New England after their win over the Titans on Saturday night. "Jimmy Garoppolo should be rooting for a Pats victory over the Titans," Corry started off as saying in a tweet from his personal Twitter account.

"He'll get $51,000 in playoff money if Pats are in the AFC Championship because he was them for at least 8 games this season & plays with an NFC team. Same is true for Cassius Marsh."

After three seasons as a backup in New England, Garoppolo took over as San Francisco’s starting quarterback and finished the season undefeated. In his five victories, Garoppolo led two final-second, game-winning drives and threw for 1,560 yards and seven touchdowns.

Those five wins look set to be enough to land Jimmy G a contract in the vicinity of $23million dollars a year for the next five years of his career. That's how good he has been for the 49ers since coming in.

If the Patriots advance to Super Bowl 52, Garoppolo will take home another $56,000. His reward for New England successfully defending their Championship status? $56,000 more into his account.

Life is pretty damn good for Jimmy Garoppolo right now, guys.
