That boy is going to be a star.

Nantes managed to keep them out for the rest of the game, but then, just minutes from the end, Carlos was involved in a truly bizarre incident with the referee.

The Brazilian defender has already been booked earlier in the match and then, as he tried to chase back to thwart a PSG attack, Carlos accidentally tripped up the referee, Tony Chapron.

Amazingly, after clearly kicking out at him, the official decided to brandish a second yellow card.

This puts Mike Dean to shame...

VIDEO: THE MOST BIZARRE REFEREEING DECISION

Talk about throwing your toys out of the pram.

Surely, Ligue 1's governing body will review the decision and then retract Carlos' ban.

The fact that he also blatantly kicked out at the Nantes defender means that the official himself should receive a suspension.

There was one other major incident of net in the game, with Di Maria guilty of producing one of the worst misses you will see all season.

LUCAS MOURA MOVES TO NANTES

Just before kick-off, news filtered through that Ranieri's side had agreed a deal for the long-term Manchester United target.

United's interest in signing at an attacking player this January clearly lies in bringing in Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan possibly going in the other direction.
