Many WWE fans are hoping there are some big surprise returns at the Royal Rumble on January 28 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and one of the names that keeps on cropping up as a possible entrant is Neville. The King of the Cruiserweights has not been seen in the WWE since he walked out of the company back at the start of October during an episode of Monday Night Raw. Since then, his future with the WWE has not looked great. Many believe Neville is done with the WWE and will not be coming back, but reports in November stated that there had been positive discussions between the superstar and the company. However, as of writing, nothing has come from these discussions. With the Royal Rumble fast approaching, this would be the perfect event for the WWE to bring Neville back to the ring as he can return to the ring as a surprise entrant in the match, but at the moment, it is currently unclear if this is going to happen.Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter was asked recently on Twitter what was going on with The Man That Gravity Forgot and if he would be coming back to the WWE.Meltzer replied by saying Neville is not talking so he's either sitting out his contract or WWE will make a deal with him to return.

Many WWE fans will be hoping it will be the latter of the two options which Meltzer provided as this will leave the door open for Neville to make his return and be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble at the end of the month in Philadelphia.

If not, then it looks like The King of the Cruiserweights is done with the WWE for now, which is sure to disappoint a lot of members of the WWE Universe.

Considering the way which he has departed, it might be a while before we see him on WWE TV again if this is the case.
