Former three-time light welterweight & welterweight world champion Ricky Hatton has given his insight on the upcoming fight between Dillian Whyte and Lucas Browne.British boxer Whyte (22-1,16 KO), has held the WBC International heavyweight title since 2016, and previously the British heavyweight title from 2016 to 2017.Lucas Browne, the 38-year-old who is still maintaining a career in the ring boasts an undefeated record of 25-0, with 22 knockouts.Despite failing a drug test back in November, Browne is still cleared to fight against Whyte, a clash both will be hoping can lead to a world title shot later in the year. The duo have already traded plenty of verbal insults to ensure there will be an added dimension of feistiness to the occasion. And Hatton has taken to Twitter on Monday afternoon to voice his opinion on the upcoming bout.Having worked so closely with the Australian Browne, the Hitman appears to lean towards a defeat for Whyte but expects an entertaining fight. He posted: "No direspwct to @DillianWhyte I don’t really know him yet but I’ve watched up Close a few times.hes probably be thinking he’s still got everything to prove still.@lucasBrowne has nothing lose he has KO power.i expect a bit of a streetfight"

Despite his advanced age, Hatton is favouring Browne, possibly because his experience will make it easier to deflect pressure away from him and onto Whyte, a fighter in his prime age.

Hatton believes the raw strength of Browne could also prove a huge factor in what gives him the edge over Whyte, who has a large stature himself at a 6'4 frame.

The two go head to head on March 24, and it can be expected that Hatton, along with fighting fans around the world will be tuning in to see this intense spectacle.
