Sunderland midfielder Bolo Zenden does not know if he will still be on Wearside next season.

The 33-year-old Dutchman scored a superb goal in Saturday's 3-1 Barclays Premier League victory over Tottenham, his second for the club in his 18th appearance since joining in October.

Zenden told the Sunderland Echo: "I signed a one-season contract with the option of a second year. I don't know if I will be staying; we haven't even started to talk about that, so we will have to see."

He added: "I have been happy at Sunderland, but I am here to play and I would have liked more minutes on the pitch. That's the way it goes."
