Liverpool 4-3 Manchester City - what a game that was.

Both sides were defensively poor at Anfield, but in terms of the pace and quality of attacking play, football fans couldn't have hoped for much better.

Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were the stars for Liverpool as always, but Kopites were singing the praises of one other name: Andrew Robertson.

Despite conceding three goals, Robertson was phenomenal at left-back and gave a mature interview afterwards explaining how they must be better.

"I'm sure the coaches and the manager will put things together and we'll see what we could have done better for the last two goals," said the Scotland international.

"They were probably sloppy on our part, but it was all about getting the three points and whether it was 1-0 or 4-3, we're absolutely delighted with the win.

"Once it all calms down, I'm sure we'll get the analysis out and see what we could have done better for all three goals and look if we can try and cut out the mistakes."

Robertson wasn't to blame for any of City's goals, mostly because they all came down Joe Gomez's flank at right-back.

What Liverpool fans loved most about Robertson's display was the aggression and desire he played with and now a video has emerged demonstrating exactly that.

Liverpool have posted a video online showing some of the "tenacious tackles" from Sunday's game, which Robertson features heavily in.

At 0:20 he charges into Raheem Sterling to win the ball cleanly and send his opponent flying before dispossessing him again 10 seconds later.

And at 0:34 and 0:40 he twice gets the better of Kyle Walker with two strong challenges. Check it out.

As you can probably already tell, Liverpool fans are all saying Robertson is an absolute beast - and he only cost them £8 million.

Robertson, 23, is a huge upgrade on Alberto Moreno and his performances of late show why he's become a guaranteed starter under Jurgen Klopp.
