Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, took a shot at Tyson Fury by saying he prefers to tweet about AJ rather than discuss a potential fight against the IBF and WBA ‘super’ heavyweight champion in person.“Anthony Joshua has proven time and time again that he will fight anyone and in his 21st fight, he will have been in two heavyweight unification fights and his fifth world title defence, which is incredible,” Hearn told Sky Sports News.“So, if Tyson Fury wants a fight with Anthony Joshua, it is only a phone call away. He likes to tweet about it rather than talk about it, say over a table."Joshua against Fury is a huge fight, but we have to deal with what's available right now, what's the reality and the reality is we want all the belts."If there is a defence against Tyson Fury, yes please. If he gets his licence, yes please, for British boxing. But rather than tweet about it, we should sit down and try and make the fight."

Fury has responded to Hearn on Twitter

Hearn’s comments were never likely to sit well with Fury and he’s responded by making a big claim on Twitter.

According to the Gypsy King, he is eager to face Joshua - but AJ and Hearn keep saying no.

“@EddieHearn what are you talking about I offered you & @anthonyfjoshua the fight many times but u keep saying no! I have the proof & you know it, talking s**t!,” Fury tweeted.

Care to release that proof, Tyson?

Here's his tweet again, just in case it gets deleted.

Joshua himself has admitted that he is no longer that interested in an all-British heavyweight clash against Tyson Fury.

"Not so much Fury anymore because I'm a bit bored of the talking,” Joshua, who will fight Joseph Parker on March 31, told Fight Hub TV.

"Should the whole boxing industry stop and wait for him? I'm not going to stop my career. I'm going to keep on rocking and rolling."

He makes an interesting point. Fury’s suspension is set to be lifted by the British Boxing Board of Control but there have been no concrete reports about his comeback fight.

Is he really close to a return? His social media posts, of himself working out and calling out heavyweights, suggest he is, but how can we say for sure?
