Going into their match against Brighton, Chelsea had scored just once in their previous four matches in 2018 - Michy Batshuayi’s strike against Norwich in their FA Cup third-round replay.

However, despite the suspensions of Alvaro Morata and Pedro, the Blues really turned on the style.

Goals from Willian, Victor Moses and a brace from Eden Hazard sealed a very comfortable win to lift them into third.

And it was the performance of the Belgian that saw Chelsea run riot.

Hazard produced arguably his best performance of the campaign and earned the Sky Sports Man of the Match award.

But it wasn’t just his performance that earned plenty of plaudits.

After the match, Hazard was seen walking over towards the Brighton fans.

What he did next was just beautiful.

A young child had been holding a ‘Hazard 10 please can I have your shirt’ sign for the duration of the match.

Hazard had obviously clocked that during the game and made that boy’s dreams come true.

If you don’t ask, you don’t get.

Check out the amazing moment:

And this is the reaction on Twitter from football fans who absolutely loved the heartwarming moment.

Recently, there have been a few rumours linking Hazard with a sensational move to Real Madrid. However, last month, the midfielder insisted he was happy at the club.

"I am always very fine at this club. I still have two years of my contract [left]," Hazard told Canal+ when asked about his future.

"When I feel the desire to leave, I’ll leave. But, for now, I’m a Blue. We know the admiration that I have for Real, but I’m at Chelsea. Every year, things were said about me but I stayed. In Lille, I was announced in Paris, but I stayed. And in Chelsea, people always said that I’m leaving, but I’m still here."
