The Cleveland Cavaliers are not having the best of seasons, and that was clear to see on Saturday night in their loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade did turn back the clock for a brief moment in the game with a fantastic alley-oop that will give Cavs fans hope for the rest of the year. The Cavaliers lost 148-124 to the Thunder last night at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, as they were unable to stop Paul George, Russell Westbrook or Carmelo Anthony, who all had monster games, scoring 36, 23, and 29 points respectively.James, on the other hand, was kept under wraps by Oklahoma, as they limited him to just 18 points, keeping him seven shy of becoming the seventh player in NBA history to reach 30,000-points. He did, however, have a vintage play with Wade during the second quarter of the game.Late in the first half of the game, Wade poked the ball away from Westbrook and immediately started a break-away in the other direction. LeBron took off as well, putting his head down to sprint ahead of the pack.As soon as Wade got inside the 3-point line, he lobbed the ball up into for his old friend for some peanut butter jelly time. James took the ball out of the air and slammed it into the basket to complete a monster old-school alley-oop.

It was a moment to savor, as the rest of the game was really bad for the Cavaliers. They have lost 10 of their last 14 games, and in the past 12 days, they have been blown out by 28, 34 and 24 points. This is not the form of a team that is looking to make their fourth consecutive NBA Finals appearance.

James said to ESPN after the game: "I've never in my basketball life gave up 148 points, not even probably playing video games. They got everything that they wanted. Inside, outside, they had it moving."

The Cavaliers might be able to get their season back on track if they have more moments like this from James and Wade between now and the end of the season. It's what they were dreaming of when the team signed Wade during the offseason as they looked to bring back the days they had together at the Miami Heat.

Cleveland will be looking to get back on track in the Eastern Conference when they play against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.
