The WWE is ready to put on its special Monday Night RAW 25th Anniversary episode tomorrow night (Mon. January 22, 2018) and the company has put a ton of effort into this show.

Several WWE Hall Of Famers and Legends are expected to show up such as The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Jim Ross, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and so many more. One name that has also been advertised is former WWE Champion Chris Jericho.

Jericho's name has probably never been hotter in the professional wrestling world as he comes off of an epic feud with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star and IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega.

The pair had been feuding for months before having a match at Wrestle Kingdom 12 earlier this month, which Jericho lost. His stock shot up as a result of the feud and he is even set to engage in another NJPW feud with Naito.

Despite his affiliation with NJPW at the moment, WWE has been advertising for Jericho to appear at RAW 25 tomorrow night.

An interesting part about WWE advertising Jericho is that a deal was not in place for his appearance at the show when they started to advertise him.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, a deal between WWE and Jericho has still not been made as of Friday.

This means that there's a very real possibility that Jericho is going to miss RAW 25.

WWE desperately wants to get a deal done with Jericho, however, due to the fact that they already advertised him and he'll be a major draw after his NJPW run.

It should be interesting to see how WWE uses Jericho if they're able to strike up a deal with him.

Its already been confirmed that Jericho will not be at WrestleMania 34 due to his scheduling with his band, Fozzy.

What are your thoughts on Jericho and WWE not yet having come to an agreement on appearing at RAW 25 just a day away from the show? Do you think we will see Jericho appear at the show when it's all said and done? And why do you think WWE prematurely advertised Jericho before a deal was even in place? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
