It has been confirmed by several credible news outlets that former WWE Divas Champion Paige's in-ring career with the company is over.

Paige has had a tough past year after failing the WWE's Wellness Policy twice, suffering from a bad neck injury, involving herself in a toxic relationship with Alberto Del Rio, and having several of her personal photos and videos leaked out on to the internet.

To further add to the devastation, Paige reportedly received word that her career inside the ring with WWE is now over. She suffered what was described as a 'stinger' injury at a live event after eating a double kick to the back from Sasha Banks.

The match was stopped unexpectedly and Paige was nearly stretchered off from the arena. It was later revealed WWE doctors would not clear her to compete for the company as an active wrestler after the injury.

Former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Natalya recently did an interview with SportingNews and was asked for her thoughts on the situation.

She revealed Paige has not said anything to anybody backstage about the injury (quotes via NoDQ.com):

“I don’t know the particulars of exactly what happened with Paige, I know, obviously, she had surgery and then she came back, but I don’t know all the details of what exactly happened.

"I just know that she hasn’t spoken about it yet and WWE hasn’t released a statement so everything from this point, as we know it, is just waiting to see and time will tell.

"What we do in the ring is difficult. At any given moment, you can have ups and downs."

“I would just wait to see what happens with Paige and wait for more from WWE to make an official announcement.

"What we do is physical and Paige is one of the most talented female superstars I’ve ever been in the ring with.

"So, I have nothing but respect for her and, obviously, my husband Tyson Kidd, who was extremely talented in the ring.

"I also know that we take everything one day at a time and I’m grateful for all the good time that we’ve had together in the ring."
