English boxing sensation Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) will look to add a third world heavyweight title to his collection when he takes on WBO titleholder Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on March 31 as he believes he is in better fighting shape now than he was during the preparation of his previous two fights.

Facing Carlos Takam in October, Joshua weighed in at his career-heaviest - 18 stone, 2 pounds - but we already know he is expecting to come in much lighter for the challenge of Parker in two months' time.

Following Parker's recent comments aimed at Joshua, where he called his rival "the king of steroids" and criticised his punch resistance, the Brit has stepped up his training regime to a new and more intense level.

"Last week we did 20 rounds in the gym which I wasn't even doing for the Klitschko fight, and what have we got?" Joshua told reporters, as per ESPN.

"We're still 11 weeks to the fight. We're steps ahead. Obviously, it's down to performance and occasion, but in terms of steps to where we are, to replicate the Klitschko and Takam fights, we are leaps and bounds ahead."

Committed during and away from training, Joshua has altered his daily routine, which he thinks could be the key to claiming victory over the New Zealand man Parker.

"I've learnt from experience of training camps to still work hard but I've added intelligence to it," said Joshua, who is trained by Rob McCracken.

"We've changed training a little bit, we've changed little things, diets, recovery, physio, times of training to make things work.

"If I start training at 6pm I won't finish till 10pm. After the training you do your extras which can take up to half an hour. We always have a little banter and a joke after the session and that leads us to 11pm.

"To get back at 11.15pm, to chill out, settle down you're at 11.30pm, 11.45pm, you eat, you're up again at 6.30am, 7am, you haven't even had enough time to digest your food, which leads to you putting on weight.

"I'm not sleeping as late, I'm eating earlier and that's affecting my weight.

"The only luxury I've done is put up black out blinds, when I'm trying to sleep in the afternoon."

The boxing world will be on their toes in excitement to see how this newly motivated Joshua fares in his intense battle with Parker on March 31.
