Goals from David Goodwillie and Andy Webster averted a second shock in the Active Nation Scottish Cup semi-finals as Dundee United booked a return trip to Hampden with a 2-0 win over Raith.
Dusan Pernis saved well from Allan Walker as Raith started well but Goodwillie rounded the goalkeeper to open the scoring against the run of play in the 28th minute.
United took control and Webster headed home just before the hour mark to secure a May 15 final against Celtic's conquerors Ross County, who now look destined to play in Europe next season.
