The two All-Star teams are finally set after LeBron James and Stephen Curry conducted the first ever draft on Thursday night.Unfortunately for fans, the selections were not televised so we'll never know how things unfolded. Both players refused to share who their top picks were but it's easy to guess that Kevin Durant was the number one overall pick for Team LeBron. With Curry previously admitting that he would attempt to choose all three of his Golden State Warriors teammates, the fact that he didn't choose KD would appear to prove that he was already off the board. This was confirmed by the man himself as Durant told Anthony Slater of The Athletic that he was taken first by James."What, we gonna keep this a mystery?" he said. The reigning Finals MVP also took to Instagram to have fun with the All-Star draft and hilariously trolled himself with a classic meme.He chose to use his famous cover from The Players' Tribune essay when he announced his decision to join the Warriors two summers ago and placed a picture of LeBron on his chest. This particular image became an instant meme on the internet and it's obvious that Durant was conscious of this when making the post.He also wrote: "#1 pick. Well at least my ego thinks so. I'm coming for you Stephen."

The Dubs superstar has had to put up with endless trolling on social media since he moved to the Bay Area so it's refreshing to see him embrace it and have some fun with it at his own expense ahead of the festivities next month in Los Angeles.

Interestingly, the 29-year-old will be teaming up with his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Russell Westbrook once again after James also selected the MVP to his team.

The duo have had some heated exchanges in their most recent clashes and it'll be interesting to see how things play out between them on the court.

But according to TNT's Rosalyn Gold-Onwude, Durant revealed that he's particularly looking forward to playing alongside New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis.

He also added that he can't wait to trash talk Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson who are all on Team Stephen.

It's clear that James wasn't interested in any personal feuds or animosity as he also selected his old Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving and said it would be "special" to be on the same team as him again.

With the All-Star game taking a lot of criticism in recent years due to the lack of competitiveness, this new format at least adds a level of intrigue to the occasion.

We can only hope to see the players go out and compete under the bright lights in L.A. and put on a show.
