Leicester have extended James Vaughan's loan spell from Everton until the end of the season.

The new deal will end on May 3 meaning the striker would not, as it stands, be eligible to play for the Foxes should they qualify for the Championship play-offs.

Vaughan has made five appearances for Leicester since moving to the Walkers Stadium in mid-March.

The 21-year-old's latest appearance was as a substitute in the 2-1 win at Peterborough on Saturday, which moved the Foxes up to fifth in the table.
