Plenty of fans loved what the referee did after Edinson Cavani broke Zlatan Ibrahimovic's all-time goalscoring record for Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday. The 30-year-old striker scored his 157th goal for the club in a comfortable 4-0 win over Montpellier.Cavani had tied Ibrahimovic's record in last week's 8-0 win over Dijon, but missed out on the record after Neymar took over penalty-taking duties."Of course we knew about Cavani's record," said Neymar on Saturday evening. "It was impossible not to know."But the coach has designated me as the penalty taker and there is no controversy with that. Everyone knows what happened in the locker room. It's the coach that decided and I have to shoulder my responsibilities."Of course we wanted Edi to beat that record, which he did. We are happy for him, we knew that it would happen. There are still nearly 30 games this season. Me, I assume my responsibilities, I do not hide, I accept them, I came for that. "Cavani needed only 11 minutes to find the net against Montpellier, tapping home after some fine work from Neymar and Adrien Rabiot.

Fans loved what the referee did
