After being out for the first half of the NBA season, Isaiah Thomas has come back from injury to see his new teammates more disjointed than the hip that he had to have surgically repaired just days after completing his trade from the Celtics.

The Cavs have lost eight of our last ten games, not exactly the kind of form one would expect from a team that should be waltzing their way to becoming the Eastern Conference champions.

Instead, the Cavaliers are currently 28-19 and sit 3rd in the East. That is...not great. And in his first time talking to the media in about a week, Thomas let out some of his frustrations.

After yesterday's less than convincing win over the Indiana Pacers, that included a less than impressive 8-for-22 shooting performance from the field, Thomas said that he wasn't best pleased with how some of the Cavs woes have been pinned on him.

"We've been a lowest five [rated] defensive team in the NBA the whole time [this season]," Thomas said after Cavs team practice on Saturday.

Thomas went on to say that any blame for poor form being pinned on his shoulders is "not fair".

"So when I come back, it's my fault now. Which, life isn't fair, but that's not fair, bro. At all," I.T added. "I just laugh at those things because I know in this circle and this team, everybody believes in each other, and everybody's in here for it to work and for us to be playing in June. That's the ultimate goal."

The Cavs are 4-7 in January since Thomas' return and 4-5 when he plays. It's clearly taking time for Thomas to get back to the All-Star level he was playing at in Boston.

But the only thing that really matters for the Cavs, not regular season quarrels and feuding, is what happens when the post-season comes. And to make sure they are in contention for that Eastern Conference title.
