The 2018 Royal Rumble event was one of the best Royal Rumble events many WWE fans have seen in years and one of the most memorable moments from the show was when Brock Lesnar legitimately punched Braun Strowman in the side of his head. The moment occurred during the WWE Universal Championship triple threat match between Lesnar, Strowman, and Kane, and it was a moment which left many fans shaken and speechless because of its ruthlessness.Moments before the punch occurred, The Monster Among Men had hit a hard knee to the side of The Beast's head. When he got up from it, he was pissed, and he reacted by punching his opponent in the side of his head in a similar manner to how he did when he was still fighting in UFC.The mics caught Lesnar screaming a profanity at Strowman, but this was quickly muted out by the WWE due to their PG rating, so WWE had two reasons to be unhappy with Lesnar's performance on that night since he plummeted headshots to one of the companies' biggest future assets.According to Justin LaBar of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the bit which WWE edited out was when Lesnar screamed "slow the f*** down" to Braun after he had punched him in the side of the head. Both men seemed to be ok in their match after this conflict and they were able to complete the match and get the result which was required, which was Lesnar retaining his Universal title by pinning Kane in the middle of the ring. This keeps the speculated plans in place for him to defend the title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 later this year. However, The Monster Among Men will likely think twice now before kneeing The Beast on the side of the head again.

Moving forward, Strowman will be part of the Elimination Chamber match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event next month that will determine who will have a WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 34.

This is the clash which Reigns is expected to win in order to book his likely match against Lesnar, so with Strowman not winning, there should be an angle involving The Monster Among Men and his WrestleMania opponent very soon, either at or around the Elimination Chamber event.
