Giannis Antetokounmpo is once again having a phenomenal season and has firmly established himself as a superstar in the NBA.

At just 23, he's already the leader of the Milwaukee Bucks franchise and is a candidate for the MVP award this year with his incredible performances on the court.

He gave another reminder of his dominance with a terrific display against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night where he inspired the Bucks to a 107-95 win with 31 points, 18 rebounds and six assists.

The Greek Freak is the second leading scorer in the league with 28.5 points per game to go along with 10.3 boards, 4.7 assists, and 1.3 blocks.

With the best years of his career still ahead of him, Antetokounmpo has the ability to achieve great things individually and collectively for Milwaukee.

In a recent interview with ESPN's Nick Friedell, Hall of Famer and Los Angeles Lakers president Magic Johnson compared the two-time All-Star to himself and claimed that he will deliver a championship for his team one day.

"With his ball-handling skills and his passing ability. He plays above the rim I never could do that. But in his understanding of the game, his basketball IQ, his creativity of shots for his teammates. That's where we [have the] same thing," Johnson told ESPN.

"Can bring it down, make a pass, make a play. I'm just happy he's starting in the All-Star game because he deserves that. And he's going to be like an MVP, a champion, this dude he's going to put Milwaukee on the map. And I think he's going to bring them a championship one day."

Magic's comments were quickly relayed to the lengthy forward and he said he always had the belief that he can win a ring but now thinks it's even more possible hearing it from one of the game's greatest ever players.

"The craziest thing is that I believe that," Antetokounmpo told ESPN of winning a championship in Milwaukee. "But it's even more believable when other guys see that, like Magic.

"Especially Magic seeing that, that's big. Because it's almost like, "OK, he sees that." So I'm on the right path, I've got to do what I'm doing."

Since Jason Kidd's shock firing, the Bucks are 4-0 and are slowly heading in the right direction again after a slump.

They're still a long way from winning a title but they have the talent to be among the best teams in the east in the years to come.

With Giannis as their leader, the Wisconsin-based outfit is definitely destined to be competing for a championship sooner rather than later.
