Bristol Rovers winger Andy Williams admits he is eyeing a new contract at the Memorial Stadium.

The 23-year-old has started 15 games for Paul Trollope's side this season, scoring two goals. And he insists there is plenty for Rovers to play for despite their outside play-off chances being dashed in Tuesday's 5-1 defeat against Southampton.

"I am also still hoping to get a new contract so there is still a lot for me to fight for," he told the Evening Post. "I hope that I can keep fighting in these last few games and get rewarded for it."

He added: "Our aim at the start of the season was to improve on the last campaign. If we fail to pick up enough points in the last few games we will have failed to achieve that."
