Brentford boss Andy Scott heaped praise on Wojciech Szczesny after the Arsenal loanee pulled off a late wonder save to earn his side a goalless draw at Bristol Rovers.
The 19-year-old Pole somehow threw himself to block a point-blank shot from Chris Lines nine minutes from time. Lines held his head in disbelief, but Scott said: "That was just a routine stop for Wojciech. We have kept 14 clean sheets this season and he has been in goal for about 10 of them.
"His performances suggest that he would not be out of place in the Championship or even the Premier League. It has reached the stage where when he lets in a goal we wonder why he hasn`t saved it."
Scott added: "Arsene Wenger rates him very highly so it`s unlikely he will be staying with us beyond the end of this season, but he has done a tremendous job."
