If you’ve never watched ‘Premier League Tonight’ on BT Sport, you’re missing out. After the Saturday evening match has finished, Jake Humphrey is joined by Premier League legends as they sit down and talk about, well, everything really.Following Arsenal's 5-1 thrashing of Everton at the Emirates, it was Steven Gerrard, Martin Keown and Robbie Savage in the BT Sport studio with Humphrey. One of the biggest topics they discussed on Saturday’s show was the situation surrounding Riyad Mahrez. The Leicester star was denied a move to Manchester City late in the transfer window and the three former professionals all gave their opinion on the Algerian. But despite the fairly serious subject, there was still time for a bit of a laugh.Keown explained how Mahrez might go and score the winner against Man City later in the season. But Gerrard decided to have a bit of fun and trolled Keown by claiming “they’ve already played them twice.”The look on Keown’s face was priceless. However, Gerrard’s joke soon backfired. While he was probably only joking in the first place, he was soon informed that Leicester and Man City actually play each other next weekend.Awkward.

Take a look at the rather hilarious moment:

While both Gerrard and Keown were in support of Leicester’s stance during the Mahrez saga, Savage admitted he felt sorry for the winger at being denied a move.

WHAT ROBBIE SAVAGE SAID ABOUT RIYAD MAHREZ

Earlier this week, he wrote in his column in the Mirror insisting that Mahrez has “outgrown” Leicester and should have been allowed to move.

“Riyad Mahrez will be in turmoil after being denied his dream move to Manchester City – and I don’t blame him,” Savage said.

“No disrespect to Leicester, who are perfectly entitled to hold Mahrez to his contract, but he has outgrown them.”
