Sunday’s Premier League clash between Liverpool and Tottenham was expected to be a thriller but nobody could have foreseen the drama that would eventually unfold at Anfield. The final 10 minutes were complete madness, featuring so many controversial moments that it’s difficult to know exactly where to start.Victor Wanyama had cancelled out Mohamed Salah’s early opener with an 80th-minute Goal of the Month contender before things became really interesting.Harry Kane was awarded a penalty in the 87th minute but allowed Loris Karius to make a simple save. Minutes later Salah had given Liverpool a 2-1 lead courtesy of a magnificent individual effort.Jurgen Klopp ran off down the touchline in jubilation, believing his side had just snatched all three points, but Kane eventually had the last laugh. The Spurs superstar was handed an opportunity to atone for his earlier penalty miss with another spot-kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time after Virgil van Dijk was judged to have fouled Erik Lamela inside the penalty area by referee Jon Moss and his assistant Ed Smart.Kane stepped up and this time did manage to score his 100th Premier League goal. That was the final kick of the game. Full-time score 2-2. The under-fire Moss blew the full-time whistle and his decisions later blasted by the infuriated Klopp."If I say what I think, I would pay the biggest fine in world football,” Klopp told reporters, in reference to Moss. “That makes absolutely no sense.”

Gary Neville's line on Jon Moss was genius

Amid the drama, many people missed an absolutely belting line from Gary Neville, the former Manchester United captain who was on co-commentary duty for Sky Sports.

Shortly after the final whistle was blown, while the camera was focused on Moss, Neville said of the match official: “He might need to get the car out of Liverpool that I do!”

Neville's relationship with Liverpool fans has improved

Neville presumably needs special security to help him get in and out of Anfield because of Liverpool supporters’ feelings towards him.

The retired defender, who United fans still celebrate for ‘hating Scousers’, has always been honest about disliking the Merseyside outfit while growing up and throughout his playing career.

It’s a slightly different story these days. Neville has grown up since then - though he still takes cheeky digs at the Reds where possible - while many Liverpool fans have grown to enjoy his superb punditry.

Give it another couple of years and he might not even need a special car to help him get away from Anfield.
