Barnsley manager Mark Robins has dropped his broadest hint yet there could be notable changes at Oakwell during the summer.

The Tykes went down meekly in a 3-1 defeat at Swansea over the weekend and have now won just one of their last 11 league games to slide back down the table, having briefly threatened to challenge for the play-offs after rising up to ninth place in February.

Robins said: "I've been telling the lads not to let this be the last couple of games they play for this club so hopefully that message will get through.

"Yes, we're safe and I have been relieved about that this last couple of weeks but I'm going to be busy in the summer, I think."

He added: "We've not given our fans value for money for the last 10 or 15 games now and that's just not good enough."
