It's not been a good week to be a Chelsea fan, that's for sure.Just when it seemed that things couldn't get any worse after the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, the Blues well and truly imploded at Vicarage Road on Monday night.Goals from Troy Deeney, Darryl Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra saw the Hornets deliver an emphatic result for Javi Gracia's first home game in charge.Similarly to the Liverpool-Tottenham clash on Sunday, however, the result wasn't without its contentious decisions.A calamitous opening half-an-hour from Tiemoue Bakayoko eventually saw the Frenchman sent off for two yellow cards as Watford began to came a stranglehold on the game.

Contentious decisions at Vicarage Road

Many Chelsea supporters considered the first booking to be harsh, even if the ex-Monaco midfielder was enduring something of a disasterclass.

Then came the second moment of debate - Watford's penalty.

Fresh from his move from Barcelona, Gerard Deulofeu won the spot kick for the home side after going to ground under minimal contact from the onrushing Thibaut Courtois. The Spaniard was clipped but was it enough to award the penalty?

Well, Courtois spoke to Sky Sports after the game and delivered a remarkably honest interview on Mike Dean's decisions in particular.

Even Harry Kane wasn't safe. The Englishman was accused of diving for Tottenham's first penalty at Anfield and the Chelsea shot stopper certainly felt the deja vu.

"The red card is very light. The first card for Baka should never be a yellow, the second maybe, but I think it was too light.

"Then there's the penalty, I think it's a clear dive. I think yesterday as well we saw it with Liverpool when the goalkeeper comes out like that. If a striker just puts his feet there and that's a penalty then I think we are far away from home if every time that's a penalty.

"He clearly left his foot and he dived. It shouldn't be a penalty."

Chelsea fans react on Twitter

When the reporter interjected to say that he had spoken with Deulofeu and that he had reassured the press that there was contact, Courtois responded: "We all know these kinds of players, it happens everywhere in the world.

"These kinds of strikers, they see a goalkeeper coming and they manufacture the contact.

"I think it's very, very light and if you have to give a penalty for that, I don't think that's on."

Wow, wow, wow.

It's not everyday you see a professional give such a brutally honest and uncensored answer which, frankly, is very provocative towards Deulofeu and, randomly, Kane.

You get the impression that all isn't well at Chelsea and Courtois is seriously hacked off.
