It was a dark night for Chelsea on Monday.Following their midweek disaster-class at home against Bournemouth where they lost 3-0, Antonio Conte's wounded side travelled to Watford and turned in an even more woeful display.Chelsea lost 4-1 at Vicarage Road, with the Blues being reduced to 10-men after Tiemoue Bakayoko was sent off after just half hour - the Frenchman's performance was one of the worst in Premier league history.Troy Deeney, Daryl Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra scored the goals, while Eden Hazard did actually bring the scores level at 1-1 at around the 80-minute mark. But, Conte's side capitulated spectacularly, leading to fans wondering whether the Italian's heart really is in the job.Past Chelsea managers have been sacked for far less and now, it appears the Blues' hierarchy are making big plans in the wake of yet another crisis.

CONTE ON THE BRINK

Spanish publication Sport are reporting that the Chelsea boss is 'on the brink' and could be sacked right away, with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique set to come in.

What is more, former Chelsea right-back Julian Belletti will follow Enrique to Stamford Bridge, with the Brazilian set to be appointed as the club's new sporting director.

CONTE MAKES A STRANGE POST-GAME DECISION

Early on Tuesday morning, another one of the Chelsea boss' strange decisions surfaced as Evening Standard journalist Simon Johnson revealed that the Italian has given the players three days off.

Surely the board will be livid with such a choice in the aftermath of Conte's worst defeat yet?

Safe to say, Chelsea fans were not too happy with the decision.

CHELSEA FANS REACT

After the game, Conte himself answered whether he thought his job was under threat and his response was typically vague.

"My position? It is the same," he told BBC Radio 5 live.

"I stay here, try to work and put all of myself into the work. The pressure? Which pressure? What is the pressure?"

All the signs point towards the board swinging the axe very, very soon.
