Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is having an MVP year and he demonstrated his MVP-worthy skills on Tuesday night in his team's game against the New York Knicks and why he should be the one lifting the Maurice Podoloff Trophy later this year. The Bucks defeated the Knicks 103-89 at Madison Square Garden last night in New York, and The Greek Freak was the best performer on the court on the night, as he finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks, and was 10-of-23 from the field. Two of his 23 points on the night came from an alley-oop in the third quarter, and it was on this play that Antetokounmpo did something rather incredible that will be shown on highlight reels for many years to come.In the third quarter with the Bucks leading 60-50, Khris Middleton was dribbling the ball down the court when he threw the ball up in the air for Antetokounmpo near the basket to complete the alley-oop for the score.Little did The Greek Freak know, apparently, that he actually jumped over the 6-foot-6 New York guard Tim Hardaway Jr. to complete the score in an unbelievable manner that left everyone inside Madison Square Garden in awe.

Antetokounmpo said after the game about the alley-oop to ESPN: "I did not see Tim Hardaway under me. I just went up there and just went hard and tried to get the ball and dunk the ball."

Hardaway didn't see Antetokounmpo either, as he said: "I didn't see him. All I saw was [Eric] Bledsoe. And all I heard was footsteps. Everybody saw what happened. It was impressive. That's not the first person he [dunked] over. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first, and I'm definitely not going to be the last, so it is what it is. I'm worried about our team and the other opponent."

Antetokounmpo even joked by saying it was a bad pass from Middleton, before reflecting on his dunk further. He said: "It was a bad pass by Khris, but I was able to get up and go get the ball.

"I know a lot of people are going to reach [out to] me and ask me about the dunk, what happened, how I feel about it, which one's better, mine or Vince. But it was just a good play."

Vince Carter did a similar dunk to this over 7-foot-2 Frenchman Frederic Weis during the 2000 Olympics, and LeBron James had a comparable dunk as well when he dunked over 5-foot-11 guard John Lucas III in the 2011-12 NBA regular season.

The Bucks play next when they visit Miami on Friday to play against the Heat.
