The hugely anticipated clash between WBA and IBO super middleweight champions George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr is just over a week away, and one man is confident he will end the contest before 12 rounds.

Groves, who has lost three times in his career, twice to Carl Froch and once to Badou Jack, says he will knock Eubank Jr out in this World Boxing Super Series semi-final fight.

Despite being the slight underdog going into this fight, Groves expects his power and hard hitting to be too much for Eubank Jr, who lost his unbeaten record to Billy Joe Saunders in late 2014.

Groves also talks about when the pair used to spar and he would dominate his upcoming opponent even with 16oz gloves and head guards.

He said in an interview: "We used to spar and I used to steady his legs constantly with right hands and that was way back in the day when I would only throw a few shots around and would move from rope to rope.

"He (Eubank Jr) had a big full-face head guard on, I'm hitting him with 16oz gloves.

"He's certainly smaller than Chudinov, he won't be able to walk through my shots, so we will wait and see.

"He's definitely going to go, could be early."

The two talented British fighters, both with a lot of talk to back up, meet on February 17 at the Manchester Arena as both men put their belts on the line.

Not only are both championship belts up for grabs, the winner will progress to the final of the World Boxing Super Series to meet the winner of the Callum Smith vs Juergen Braehmer, which takes place the following weekend in Germany.

Whether Groves' prediction turns out to be correct or not, this hugely anticipated fight will surely be one to remember.
