The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered another terrible loss on Tuesday night, this time to the Orlando Magic, further dampening their hopes of claiming one of the top-two seeds in the Eastern Conference, as well as returning to the NBA Finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Cleveland lost 116-98 to the Magic at the Amway Center in Orlando last night, as the team simply couldn't stop Jonathon Simmons, who scored 34 points with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and was 12-of-17 from the field.

LeBron James led the way for the Cavaliers on the night with 25 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal, as well as being 10-of-17 from the field, but every single other member of the Cavaliers struggled to score 12 or more points.

The Cavaliers have now lost 10 of their last 15 games following last night's defeat, and Isaiah Thomas believes this is occurring because the team isn't doing enough when the going gets tough on the court.

The point guard said to ESPN's Dave McMenamin: "When we hit adversity, we go our separate ways."

Cleveland had a 16-point lead heading into the second half, but they allowed the Magic back into the game in the third quarter with 41 points. The Cavaliers further struggled in the fourth, scoring a season-worst nine points.

Thomas also said too much of an individual mindset throughout the entire second half on both ends of the court contributed towards the Cavaliers losing against the Magic last night.

He said postgame to FOX Sports Ohio: "Guys start to go 1-on-1 on offense and then defense it's every man for himself. First half, we played good, everybody was happy and we were energized, helping each other on the defensive end, sharing the ball ... and then we revert back to what makes us lose games."

The collapse of the Cavaliers has certainly been an interesting one to analyze, but unfortunately for their fanbase, right now, it doesn't look like the team will be returning to the NBA Finals anytime soon.
