We may well still be in shock from the Philadelphia Eagles winning the big one on Sunday, with Nick Foles pulling a huge performance out of the bag to secure the Super Bowl victory and land Most Valuable Player. The Eagles won the game by staying true to who they are on the offensive side of the ball. They stayed as aggressive as they usually are, with Doug Pederson running his play-action, RPO offense to perfection. The biggest call of the entire game was the 4th-and-1 trick play that the Eagles drew up and led to a touchdown reception by Foles that caught absolutely everyone off guard - including the entirety of the Patriots defense. And something new has just come out. While everyone was busy praising Pederson for having the stones to make such a call, it turns out we were heaping the congratulations on the wrong person.A new video, released by Showtime last night, shows that it was actually Foles himself who made the call to run the now famous trick play that netted seven points for the Eagles. A clip from Inside the NFL shows Foles going up to coach Pederson on the sideline during the timeout that was called, and saying, "Philly Philly?"Pederson stared back at Foles for a few seconds, taking it all in and going over it in his head,  before finally replying, "Yeah, let's do it."

"That was something we'd been working on, and Doug and I were talking. I was like, 'Let's just run it.' And it was a good time," Foles said in an interview after becoming Super Bowl champion.

Foles went into a little more detail about the play.

"And the end was a little wider than I thought, so I really needed to sell like I'm not doing anything. And it worked -- Burton made an amazing throw right on the money; I just looked it in. We worked on it for a while [in practice], so I was excited for it to get a run in the Super Bowl."

That play will go down in Philly folklore, and so will Foles, Pederson and the rest of the Eagles playing and coaching staff.
