Tyson Fury got boxing fans talking when he hosted a Twitter Q&A last year.

The pick of the moments came when Fury was asked who would win in a fight between himself and Mike Tyson in his prime.

Fury was modest in his answer, backing Tyson to win via knockout in the first round.

We can speculate what would happen if Fury fought Tyson but we’ll never know the actual answer to the question.

Both are former heavyweight champions but Fury will be chuffed if he can enjoy the level of success that Iron Mike enjoyed inside the ring.

Mike Tyson has responded - and it's class

Fans waited to see if Tyson would ever respond to Fury’s prediction and thankfully he did.

The American sent Tyson a lovely video message, telling him to have more confidence in himself.

“Hey Tyson Fury, I heard you said I would knock you out if me and you fought,” Tyson said.

“Hey man, you have to have more confidence in yourself.

“Anything can happen in a fight. You see Buster Douglas knocked me out so anything can happen.

“You have to have more confidence in yourself and I look forward to seeing you making your comeback okay buddy? Take care.”

Fury tweeted after watching Tyson's message

Class from Tyson. Fury quickly spotted Tyson’s response and he duly tweeted.

“Even the legend @MikeTyson is looking forward to the comeback of the GYPSYKING thanks for the support champ,” the 29-year-old said.
