Legendary Premier League striker Thierry Henry was waxing lyrical about Liverpool's Roberto Firmino on Sky Sports Monday Night Football show.
The Brazilian forward scored his 20th goal of the season in Sunday's 2-0 win at Southampton - and notched a sublime backheel assist for Mohamed Salah.
Firmino's link-up play has been out-of-this-world all season and the unconventional number nine has become a fan favourite at Anfield.
His German manager Jurgen Klopp is regularly singing his praises and explained what sets him apart from his attacking teammates.
"Mo Salah, world class, but not every day," said Klopp, as per the Daily Mail. "Sadio Mane, world class, but not every day. Roberto Firmino, world class, pretty much every day."
The 26-year-old forward has only missed one Premier League game this season and it's no wonder Henry claimed he would've loved to play alongside him.
Thierry Henry analyses Firmino on MNF
Asked who stood out in Liverpool's 2-0 win at St. Mary's, the retired Arsenal and Barcelona star responded: “Firmino, not for the first time.
“The way he plays, the way he works.
"The assist that he had, just everything that he does. That’s why he always plays."
Henry brilliantly dissected Firmino's back-heel assist for Salah - he spotted something brilliant that the Brazilian did that very few had.
The footage below is undoubtedly a "must-watch" for Liverpool fans. Skip to 1:50 to see Henry's analysis on the Firmino flick.
That's some top notch punditry work.
Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings are yet to score a Premier League goal between them this season but Klopp has nothing to worry about as long as Firmino can stay fit.
“I would have liked to have played with this guy,” Henry added.
That's about the highest praise you can receive.
Liverpool fans react on Twitter
There were plenty of Reds supporters watching MNF and they absolutely loved Henry's comments about Firmino.
Firmino is expected to lead the line when Klopp's side visit Porto in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 match.
