Urijah Faber is a legend in the mixed martial arts (MMA) world, being one of the biggest stars in the sport that lighter weight classes have ever seen.

He is one of the most skilled fighters to have ever graced the Octagon, and has only really lost in competition when a UFC title is on the line. His last fight December of 2016 when he defeated Brad Pickett via unanimous decision in California.

Faber has had legendary feuds over the years, but none more so that his rivalry with former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.

For years Faber's initial win over Cruz back in 2007 was "The Dominator's" only loss on his record, before Faber's training partner Cody Garbrandt stepped in and fixed that the same month Faber fought his last bout.

Faber recently spoke to Submission Radio to talk about staying in the USADA drug testing pool and revealed he will still consider fighting if a big opportunity presents itself (quotes via MMA Fighting):

“Look, I spent a lot of time getting really great at fighting and I’m able-bodied and healthy,” said Faber.

“I train just as much or more than some of the guys that are active but it’s not my goal [to come back], necessarily. It’s just the habits that I’ve created in my life.

"I would say I’m always open to entertain any business opportunity or offer, and I love to do things that I love to do, so I’m not gonna cut anything out.

"I still get tested from USADA just because I’ve never taken drugs in my life so I don’t really care about that.

“It’s well worth it. The difference is, if there was a big opportunity and someone wanted you to fight and it sounded like a good idea, I wouldn’t want to wait four months to get cleared when I’m not doing drugs anyway.

"So I’ll take one for the team on a 6 a.m. wake-up call. I’ve got it down pat anyways. I pretty much sleep through the whole thing aside from when I’m giving the urine sample.”

What are your thoughts on Faber saying that he'd come out of retirement and fight again for a big opportunity? Do you think that we'll ever see "The California Kid" fight inside the Octagon again? And could it be for a UFC title if he does decide to come back? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
