These superstars had people talking. As seen on this week’s episode of 205 Live in Bakersfield, CA at the Rabobank Arena on the WWE Network, there were two matches featured on the broadcast.Akira Tozawa vs. Mark Andrews and Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak. These matches were apart of Cruiserweight Title Tournament. You have to give WWE a lot of credit for making the decision to bring back the cruiserweight division. It was all due to Triple H, who came up with the idea for the Cruiserweight Classic that aired on the WWE Network. It featured the best talents in the world. This led to WWE bringing back the cruiserweight division and giving it a show as well as a title. Although Tuesday nights is when the show is held and aired on the WWE Network, the division is also featured on Monday Night Raw on the USA Network. They also travel with the Raw brand. Despite the great success that the division had with the Cruiserweight Classic, it has struggled with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon being in control of it.Thus, now, Triple H is in charge of the creative for the show. 205 Live premiered on November 29, 2016, and airs following SmackDown Live. The Raw brand was originally established as the exclusive home of the division during the brand extension last year. However, following the premiere of 205 Live, the cruiserweight stars appear on both Raw and 205 Live as well as making appearances on NXT.The idea for Enzo Amore on the Cruiserweight show would be in order to help out the division as it lacks star power. He can talk. There’s no doubt about that, but his in-ring skills might need to be sharpened up.He would help the division as he is great on the microphone and sells merchandise. Well, WWE ended up pulling the trigger on the idea.WWE fans took to social media to sound off on the Gulak vs. Nese match as many have praised it, which you can see here:
