In the final game before the All-Star break, the Denver Nuggets put on an offensive clinic as they torched the Milwaukee Bucks 134-123 on the road on Thursday night. As a team, they were hot from beyond the arc as they drained 24 three-pointers, matching a franchise record. But as is so often the case for the Nuggets, the night belonged to one man; Nikola Jokic. The Serbian produced another stunning display and notched his fifth triple-double of the season in historic fashion.Jokic totalled 35 points, 15 rebounds, and 17 assists on the night and it didn't take him long to log the triple-double as he posted it in just 14 minutes and 33 seconds. This makes it the fastest in NBA history, easily beating the previous record of 17 minutes set by Jim Tucker."I just started playing well and making shots," Jokic said, per ESPN. "I didn't have any extra motivation or anything like that though. I'm just playing the same way I always play. Maybe I was a little more aggressive tonight, but I'm playing the same."

The 22-year-old's feat is simply remarkable when you put it into context. On the list of players with the quickest triple-doubles, he's the only true center that features on there.

He surpasses the likes of LeBron James and Russell Westbrook which is simply crazy for a player in his position.

It gets even better for Jokic as he joins elite company with this stat line. Only two other players in league history have had a 30-point, 17-assist, and 15-rebound game; James Harden in 2016 and Magic Johnson in 1981.

The performance of the big man was so good, it overshadowed a display of 36 points, 13 assists and 11 boards from Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Jokic's efficiency was incredible as he shot 11-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-3 from three-point range, and a perfect 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.

Anybody who's been watching the youngster this season, and in recent weeks, in particular, won't be so surprised by the numbers he put up in Milwaukee.

This was his second consecutive triple-double after recording 23 points, 11 assists and 13 rebounds against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. It's also his third in his last seven outings.

There must be something about Milwaukee that 'The Joker' likes as his first career triple-double also came in the BMO Harris Bradley Center. He now has 11 in just his third year in the NBA.

Jokic is averaging 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game this campaign and is establishing himself as a superstar in Denver.

They're locked in a battle to claim one of the final playoff spots in the west, but if their talented Serb continues to produce performances like this, they'll surely be looking forward to the postseason.
