Derby manager Nigel Clough will watch his side's final Championship match of the season against Cardiff on Sunday from the stand after being handed an immediate one-match touchline ban and fined £1,000 by the Football Association.

Clough attended a personal hearing in Birmingham on Tuesday to answer a charge of improper conduct.

The charge related to the league game against Ipswich at Pride Park on April 5 when Clough was sent to the stand by referee Jonathan Moss. Clough accepted the charge and was warned as to his future conduct.
