Nikola Jokic might be the most unique big man in the NBA today and he showed why with a historic performance for the Denver Nuggets against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night. The Serbian produced the fastest triple-double in NBA history as he inspired his team to a 134-122 win on the road.It took the center just 14 minutes and 33 seconds to achieve the feat, breaking the previous record of 17 minutes set by Jimmy Tucker of the Syracuse Nationals in 1955.He ended the game with 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 17 assists on an efficient 11-of-14 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range.Of those numbers, the 17 dimes immediately stand out as it's a remarkable figure for a player in his position.Jokic's passing ability is hugely impressive and it's why the Nuggets run most of their offence through him. He's essentially the team's point guard playing at the five. His court vision and eye for a pass are remarkable and he displayed this once again with an outrageous assist against Milwaukee. With the 22-year-old trapped and double-teamed in the corner, he somehow managed to deliver a perfect no-look, behind-the-back pass to teammate Juancho Hernangomez who was left with a simple layup.

It literally looked like he had eyes in the back of his head and was easily the best of his 17 assists on the night.

The pass didn't seem to be possible and looked extremely difficult to pull off. But for the young big, it was relatively simple.

"Actually that was an easy one," he said postgame, per CBS Sports. "The defence don't expect that, so you just need to work on that pass."

This was the second consecutive triple-double for Jokic after he also notched one against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. He put up 28 total dimes in the two contests.

The display in Milwaukee was something truly special and put him in elite company.

He became just the sixth player in NBA history to record a game with 30-plus points, 15-plus rebounds, and 15-plus assists. The other names on that list are Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, Larry Bird and James Harden.

"When you get a triple-double in 12 minutes -- I've been around for great players, I've never seen anything close to that," head coach Michael Malone said after the game.

This season, Jokic is averaging 16.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in 31 minutes per game and is developing into a real superstar for Denver.

The Colorado-based franchise currently occupies the seventh spot in the west and are hoping to make the playoffs for the first time since 2013.

With 'The Joker' playing at this level, they have a great chance to end that drought.
