Boxing fans were treated to a brilliant fight on Saturday night, with George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr. going to war in the Manchester Arena. The two British fighters met in the semi-final of the World Boxing Super Series, with Groves defying the bookies and sealing a famous victory on points. The Saint dominated the fight from the get-go, outclassing his opponent with his jab and regularly prompting Eubank into throwing wild and inaccurate punches.Groves' height advantage really was key, while he also showed tremendous heart and determination to seal a victory that cements his position back at the top of the middleweight division following his loss to Badou Jack back in 2015.Many thought that was the end of his career after two losses to Carl Froch as well, but Groves' second coming is mighty impressive, with a lot of it down to the brilliance of his trainer Shane McGuigan. The praise for him has come from all over and Kell Brook has now summed up exactly what his victory means, while also highlighting a key flaw in Eubank's mentality for the sport.

BROOK DROPS A TRUTH BOMB TWEET

Wow, he's not held back there and his words certainly bare some truth after Eubank's actions prior to the fight.

Both Brook and Eubank have been engaged in a war of words before, with the latter criticising Brook after his loss to Gennady Golovkin back in 2016.

When the Kazakh fighter sent his well wishes to the Sheffield fighter after their bout, Eubank posted some controversial material.

He said: "But Eubank Jr took exception to the Kazakh's post and replied: '@GGGBoxing You're so called P4P but fighting a guy 2 weight divisions below u!? Nobody in the UK or anywhere else is going to respect you."

He continued: "@GGGBoxing after you're done bullying @SpecialKBrook & you're ready for a fight with a real middleweight, I'll be there #PickOnSomeoneYourOwnSize."

Clearly, Brook was biding his time fire back and he done so brilliantly.
