There are plenty of underrated players in the Premier League, but none arguably compare to Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele.

The 30-year-old has been playing in England since 2010 but only now are football fans really starting to recognise his talents.

If evidence is needed of how good Dembele is, it's that most of his teammates at Tottenham regard him as the best player at the club - even better than Harry Kane.

Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, Danny Rose and Harry Winks were asked on Soccer AM recently who Tottenham's best player is and they all said Dembele.

Here's what they said of the Belgian.

Alli: "He's very good. His feet are unbelievable. He's so big as well but shifts his body so easily, I don't know how he does it."

Dier: "He's a freak of nature. Physically he's a monster and he's got ballerina feet at the same time. It's quite special."

Wanyama: "He glides past players easily in training and in games. You know what he's going to do but you can't get the ball."

Rose: "He's unbelievable. How he plays the game he makes it look so easy. You know which way he's going to go which makes it worse."

Winks: "His sheer power, his pace, his strength, but his technique as well with both feet. The way he can just beat any player facing them up."

Dembele may be underrated amongst football fans, but his teammates, who play with and against him every week, know exactly how good he is.

Kevin De Bruyne plays alongside the 30-year-old for the Belgium national team and back in 2016, he said something that sounded outrageous at the time but doesn't anymore.

In the video below at 0:50, De Bruyne names Dembele in his fantasy 5-a-side team and then explains how he's one of the best in the world in his position.

DE BRUYNE: DEMBELE ONE OF THE BEST

De Bruyne said: "For me, in a 5-a-side, he's the best player in the world. So strong on the ball, you can never take it off him. Offensively and defensively [he's] one of the best."

It's now 2018 and there's no denying Dembele is "one of the best" in midfield. He dominates in the middle of the park for Tottenham and with age he's actually getting even better.
