Rusev is one of the hottest Superstars on the WWE's roster right now, and he has some thoughts about mixed martial arts (MMA) stars coming into the WWE .

Several years ago then-UFC featherweight champion and current lightweight champ Conor McGregor made some comments about the WWE and its Superstar prior to his UFC 205 match-up against Eddie Alvarez for the 155-pound strap.

McGregor used some vulgar language when describing WWE Superstars, essentially discrediting their toughness and only paying homage to the "doms" of the game such as Vince McMahon and Triple H.

Its been no secret that WWE loves to scoop up big name talent from other sporting worlds such as fighting and the NFL, and Conor McGregor is one of the top names they'd love to bring over to the professional wrestling world.

WWE recently signed former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to a full time deal and she will sign her RAW contract at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view (PPV) this weekend.

Rusev was recently interviewed by Akhilesh Gannavarapu of Wrestling Inc. and was asked about McGregor possibly coming to WWE. Rusev was one of the Superstars who went after McGregor on Twitter following his comments on the professional wrestling industry.

"The Bulgarian Brute" said that he doesn't believe McGregor will come and join WWE after making a boatload of cash for his boxing exhibition superfight against Floyd Mayweather last year (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

"McGregor? He's not coming to WWE. What is he going to do here? He just made $ 160 million (against Mayweather). What is he going to do here? He's going to sit at home."

If McGregor did come to WWE Rusev did admit that it's something he'd like to see:

"Yeah, I'd definitely like to see him, me and Sheamus get a pint of Guinness, and go from there (laughs)."

What are your thoughts on Rusev saying that he doesn't think McGregor will come to WWE after the payday he made from the Floyd Mayweather fight? Do you think that McGregor will ever be a part of the WWE? If so, how big of a role do you think the Irishman would have with the company? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
