Not many talents have enjoyed a better year in the WWE than Braun Strowman.

The Monster Among Men has become a staple of Monday Night Raw and seems to have a memorable moment on the show every week.

Due to his sheer size and athleticism, and underrated charisma, Strowman has rightly earned himself a prominent spot on the WWE's flagship show.

He has had a few title opportunities against Brock Lesnar for the Universal title - only one of which was actually one-on-one - and many fans would prefer to see Strowman rather than Reigns replace Lesnar as the top dog on Mondays.

However, the WWE has had their plans for Reigns to beat Lesnar at Mania 34 set in stone for a while now and nothing is going to dissuade Vince McMahon from making Reigns the face of the company.

So, where does Strowman fit into the WrestleMania 34 card?

It's worth bearing in mind the former Wyatt Family member didn't even have a singles programme last year in Orlando at WrestleMania 33, he was a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale, which was somehow won by Mojo Rawley.

This year, the WWE seems to have some bigger plans for Strowman.

The Observer notes it looks like WWE is still planning The Miz vs. Strowman for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34.

It had looked like Strowman might face Triple H at the Grandaddy of Them All in New Orleans after their showdown at Survivor Series in November of last year.

While it's not clear what The Game will be doing instead, it seems that getting some gold around the waist of Strowman appears to be a priority.

Kurt Angle was also a longtime rumoured opponent for Strowman, but latest reports suggest that Seth Rollins may be given that honour.

Strowman has a long-running history with The Miz and pinned the Intercontinental champion on Raw this past Monday to win the seven-man gauntlet match, a match he entered last.

This match at WrestleMania would almost certainly serve as Strowman's coming out party on the biggest stage, similar to John Cena's U.S. title win back in 2004 over the Big Show.
