Paris Saint Germain defender Mamadou Sakho has alerted a host of top clubs including Arsenal after admitting he does not know where he will be next season.
The 20-year-old has been linked with Arsene Wenger’s side, as well as Newcastle, and was part of the PSG side that beat Monaco in the Coupe de France final to book a place in Europe next term.
Sakho, though, told French newspaper L’Equipe: “The Europa League is good but my absolute dream is the Champions League. I have personal goals and I’m thinking.
“My agents have received requests from foreign clubs which they must analyse with PSG. I do not know if I’ll stay, I must feel we can make progress next season,” he added.
Wenger need reinforcements in order to compete with Chelsea and Manchester United next season and defence is a priority.
William Gallas has already been linked with a switch in the opposite direction to Sakho, while there are doubts over Mikael Silvestre’s future at the club.
