Liverpool are currently taking on West Ham at Anfield in a match that sees Patrice Evra return to Anfield.Evra, of course, was involved in an incident with Luis Suarez back in 2011 that resulted in the Uruguayan striker being found guilty of racial abuse and receiving an eight-match ban."I'm upset by the accusations of racism,” Suarez said in a statement following Evra’s allegations. “I can only say that I have always respected and respect everybody.“We are all the same. I go to the field with the maximum illusion of a little child who enjoys what he does, not to create conflicts."Yet the FA charged Suarez after he “used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Manchester United’s Patrice Evra contrary to FA rules.”

More drama came when Suarez refused to shake Evra’s hand when Liverpool played Manchester United at Old Trafford in the return match.

What Riise tweeted before kick-off

Evra, who signed for West Ham earlier this month, has the unfortunate task of marking Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.

And Liverpool fans believe John Arne Riise sent a message about the French left-back before kick-off on Twitter.

“Go on boys!!! @LFC Run over them!!! And please give a certain player an afternoon he will never forget!,” Riise wrote.

Riise posted another tweet minutes afterwards

Riise received plenty of tweets from fans criticising him for seemingly raising the Evra/Suarez situation. However, the former Fulhman man has sent another tweet claiming that’s not the case.

Instead, he wants Evra to have a miserable afternoon simply because he used to play for Manchester United.

“So many weirdos on here,” he added. “Haven’t even mentioned the Suarez - Evra situation and people are on it straight away!

“Wake up people! When a ex player from Man U comes to Anfield you always want the player to have a bad afternoon!

“Just normal people, so stop pretending you know.”

Check out some of his other tweets.

Bet Riise regrets ever sending that first tweet now.
