When Paul Lambert brought Charlie Adam on in the 74th-minute during their Premier League clash against Leicester, he was hoping the midfielder would use his experience to see out the game for Stoke.Leicester had just equalised through Jack Butland’s terrible own-goal and the home side were pressing for the winner. The 32-year-old was expected to take the sting out of the match and keep the ball in the hope to preserve the draw. What followed, though, was one of the worst cameo performances in Premier League history.Shortly after being introduced, Adam could easily have been sent off for catching Wes Morgan on the hip with his studs when challenging for a header. He also somehow got away with a foul on the edge of the box on Kelechi Iheanacho. He finally got booked for another foul on Iheanacho, before his awful header allowed Riyad Mahrez to go through on goal. Luckily for Adam, Butland saved his skin. There was still time for a truely terrible free-kick from Adam.Luckily for us, a YouTube user has compiled a video of all of Adam’s mistakes during his match against Leicester - and it’s gloriously horrific.

Wow. How bad is that!?

TWITTER REACTS TO ADAM'S PERFORMANCE

And this is the reaction on Twitter to Adam's performance - a performance that was so bad that he was trending come full-time.

Of course, it was only 14 days ago that Adam was the villain for Stoke.

After being awarded a last-gasp penalty during the 1-1 draw with Brighton, Adam ensured he took the kick only to see it saved. He then took far too long with his rebound, allowing Lewis Dunk to prevent him tapping the ball into the empty net.

So, that’s two Premier League matches in a row that Adam really hasn’t helped Stoke’s cause as they attempt to battle against relegation.

It's fair to say he's not a fan favourite right now...
