Jimmy Butler of the Minnesota Timberwolves may now be missing four to six weeks of action due to a torn meniscus, but this hasn't stopped him from doing something special and spend some time with a Make-A-Wish kid.Butler suffered a right meniscus injury on a non-contact play during in the third quarter of the Timberwolves' road loss to the Houston Rockets on Friday. An MRI scan on Saturday revealed that the point guard escaped a potentially season-ending injury, and will only miss up to six weeks of action. However, less than 24 hours after the incident had occurred, the Minnesota star did something pretty amazing, as rather than just simply resting up at home, he decided to meet a Timberwolves fan as part of the fantastic Make-A-Wish foundation. The fan, named Matthew Long, had traveled all the way from Seattle to meet Butler, and he got his wish prior to the Timberwolves' 122-104 win against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday at the Target Center in Minneapolis.14-year-old Matthew has a rare condition where his body is unable to produce enough red blood cells and it was his wish to meet Butler. The two talked about their love for football, and he also received a signed jersey, some shoes, and watched the Timberwolves win.

It's great to see the Timberwolves star spend some time with Matthew despite the fact he recently suffered an injury on the court. Butler has averaged 22.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and five assists this season, but he won't be back on the court for another four to six weeks.

According to ESPN, Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau said on Butler's injury prior to Saturday's win over the Bulls: "It's an injury. I think Jimmy's still gathering information. So we'll have more information [Sunday] in terms of a course of action, how we'll proceed from there.

"I'm not going to elaborate other than we're going to say it's a meniscus injury right now. Until he can gather the information and then we can go forward from there. We had travel problems [Friday] night, so we didn't get back 'til late today; so we want to give Jimmy the opportunity to talk to the medical people that he needs to talk to for us to proceed."

The Timberwolves play next at Sacramento against the Kings on Monday night.
